Resort Casino in Marina Bay Sands will be the first Las Vegas style resort casino to be built in Singapore by one of the world’s largest casino campanies, Las Vegas Sands, and is expected to launch in 2009 along the Marina Bay Waterfront.

At the heart of Marina Bay Sands will be the location of the first resort casino in Singapore (see below). In addition to the casino, other key components of the plan are three resort hotel towers with 2,500 rooms, an arts and sciences museum and a convention center capable of accommodating over 52,000 people.

Background Of Marina Bay Sands: The US$3.6 billion project has been awarded to Las Vegas Sands Corp. to build a 6 million sq. ft. integrated resort, which by most estimate will be the most expensive casino resort in the world. It will feature three 50-storey hotel towers, crowned by a two acre Sky Park bridging across the towers, offering 360 degree view of the city and the sea, an iconic Arts and Sciences Museum on the promontory, 1-million square feet of integrated waterside promenade and shopping arcade, a state-of-the art 1-million square foot convention center, two 2,000-seat theaters; a resort casino; and a 4,000 car garage.
