Getting To Marina Bay Sands From Changi Airport Terminal 2

If you wish to go to Marina Bay Sands from Changi Airport Terminal 2, here are the different ways to get to your destination and how much you will approximately be charged for the journey.
- Complimentary Shuttle Bus Service (Free for in-house hotel guest, otherwise SGD$25.00 applies)
- Taxi (SGD$18.00 to SGD$38.00 for regular taxi)
- MRT (Train) (from SGD$2.00)
- Limousine Taxi or Large Taxi Service (SGD$45.00 for Limousine Taxi, SGD$50.00 for Large Taxi)
1. Complimentary Shuttle Bus Service
There is an airport shuttle service running from Terminal 2 coach bay to Marina Bay Sands coach terminal (complimentary for in-house hotel guest). The service will run through the other airport terminals as well.
Airport Shuttle Service Route:
- Changi Airport Terminal 3 (Start)
- Crowne Plaza Changi Airport
- Changi Airport Terminal 1
- Changi Airport Terminal 2
- Changi Airport Budget Terminal
- Marina Bay Sands Coach Terminal (End)
How To Get To Terminal 2 Coach Bay From Arrival Hall:
(A) Once you step out from the arrival hall, look out for the following sign, turn left to head towards the Terminal 2 coach bay.
(B) When you exit from Terminal 2, turn right and you shall see the coach bay immediately. Wait for the next arriving MBS airport shuttle bus to arrive.
Frequency Of Shuttle Bus Service (24-Hour):
Every 30 minutes from 6:00AM to 10:00PM daily.
Every 1 hour from 10:00PM to 6:00 AM the next morning daily.
The taxi stand is located nearby to Terminal 2 arrival hall. You will see this “Taxi” sign immediately when you exit the hall (see below).
Follow the sign (turn right) and continue to look for “Taxi” sign that will lead you to the nearest taxi stand. (which taxi stand can I drop off at Marina Bay Sands?)
Basic Fare For A Taxi Ride From The Airport To The City:
For Regular Taxi
Flag-down (inclusive of 1st km): SGD$2.80 – SGD$3.20
Every 385 metres (up to 10 km): SGD$0.20
Every 330 metres (after 10 km): SGD$0.20
Every 45 seconds of waiting time: SGD$0.20
For Chrysler Taxi
Flag-down (inclusive of 1st km): SGD$5.00
Every 385 metres (up to 10 km): SGD$0.30
Every 330 metres (after 10 km): SGD$0.30
Every 45 seconds of waiting time: SGD$0.30
The nearest MRT (train) station is Changi Airport (CG2) station.
(A) To get to the train station, look out for the sign “Train To City”once you exit from the arrival hall. Turn right accordingly.
(B) Continue to look out for the sign “Train to City”.
(C) Once you reach Changi Airport (CG2) station, you may board the MRT train and drop off at Bayfront station (CE1) which is the nearest station to Marina Bay Sands.
4. Limousine Taxi or Large Taxi Service
Limousine taxi (maximum 4 passengers) or large taxi service (maximum 7 passengers) are also available at Terminal 2 if you wish to travel in style or require a taxi with larger capacity. Approach the Ground Transport Desk (can be found easily once you exit from the arrival hall) for booking assistance. (which taxi stand can I drop off at Marina Bay Sands?).
Basic Fare For Limousine & Large Taxi Service:
- Mercedez Limousine (to any destination): SGD$45.00
- Space MPV (to any destination): SGD$50.00
- MaxiCab (to any destination): SGD$50.00
Public Bus Service:
There is no public bus service that runs directly to the Marina Bay Sands at the moment.
